Season Start Up Information

Managers, Coaches and Convenors,

Starting out the season is a busy and exciting time! Our schedules will be out very soon and we should be well on our way to watching our favourite ball players enjoy the best sport in the world!

Before that happens we need have 3 items of business:

 

1. Roster Information with Jersey Numbers  

Please use the following template and email it to admin@winnipegsouth.net as soon as possible.  Bonus points will be rewarded to managers/teams that send me their information first ;)

This information is shared on the website to enable you to contact the other coaches and for 11UA and 13UA it is also to maintain your pitching records and scores during the season 

 

 All Schedule Changes should be emailed to admin@winnipegsouth.net and I will update your website schedule.

 

2. Score Entry and Pitch Count

Managers will be given a log in and password for the website

*Citywide leagues (11UAA, 13UAA, 15UA & AA, 18UA & AA) go to www.wpgminorbaseball.ca 

 

Here is the how to: This is also posted on the front page of our website. 

  1. Home Team Enters the Score and Pitch Count
  2. Go to our website & Click Admin Log In (top left corner)
  3. Click League Games (Left Side Menu)
    • Using search tools provided find the game you are looking for.
    • Click the green Game Sheet button beside the game played
    • Enter Team Scores (don’t worry about Home Runs or Defensive Outs)
    • Mark Game as finished
    • Click Submit
  4. Click on Roster
    • Select all players that played in this game according to your paper line up sheet from the game
    • Add any players if necessary
    • Click Submit
  5. Click on Pitch Count
    • Enter Player Numbers and Pitch Count for both Teams. Only players who pitched need to be entered.
    • Click Submit
  6. Visiting Team - go online the same way and verify the score and pitch count by clicking the Orange button beside the green Game Sheet Button.
  7. Scores and Pitch counts should be entered no later than 24 hours after game ends.

 

3. Mobile Scheduling and Communication App

For the last 3 years Home Run Sports/Kahunaverse has sponsored Team Linkt for our teams use for free!

If your teams would like to use this scheduling app please forward the following information to aaa@winnipegsouth.net

  • Team Name
  • Age Group
  • Division (a/aa/grandslam)
  • Name of Manager/Contact with contact email
